I have two passions in life: chemistry and stone carving. Both endeavors involve the deliberate manipulation of matter requiring inspiration, intense focus, attention to detail, and perseverance for success. The difference lies in scale. Chemists work with flasks and beakers on atoms and molecules too small to perceive with the naked eye. Sculptors work with chisels on rocks large enough for the observer to see, touch, and enjoy.
