Hawg on the Hook

BC Brucite on a granite base

23" x 9" x 12"

This carving of a big-mouth bass is the fifth in the fish series. Features that distinguish this from the previous carvings include a pectoral fin that sticks out from its side, an open mouth and the inclusion of a spoon lure with a treble hook imbedded in its mouth. Fishing line connects the spoon to a spot on the ceiling giving the illusion that this is a fish being reeled toward a lucky fisherman.
